Glen and Diane (Randy's aunt and uncle) were in town last week for a conference in Maryland so we picked them up at their hotel in DC and took em out to dinner. It was fun! We took them to Billy Goat Tavern (we went to the same one in Chicago and found out there was one in DC) and then to Baskin Robbins for a special treat!
Thanks Glen and Diane! We love you two!

P.S. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I am looking forward to Dec. 4th! That is the night of Randy's work party at the RITZ-CARLTON! Yes, the ever-so-famous Ritz-Carlton. It is black-tie optional so you can BET your little rears we're going to dress up all fancy-schmancy. And another great part? We booked a room for that night! In exchange for Randy's work to have their party at the Ritz, the Ritz agreed to reduce room prices just for employees so we decided to take it to our advantage! Be looking forward to a post and pictures about it right after Dec. 4th.
We're excited for next weekend! We get to see our families :) My sister's getting married to Jason next friday so we're coming down for that and we are stinkin excited! It's funny because we're coming back for Christmas, which makes it better!

A few weeks ago, when my parents were here, and we drove up to Richmond to visit family, we stopped at McDonalds for some quick food and while I was waiting for my food, I filled out this little sweepstakes thing for fun. Well, little do we know, we got a call last week letting us know we won! We won a 3-day, 2-night stay at a resort near Shenandoah Valley. It's good for a year so we'll do it next spring or summer! We also won a $100 VISA gift card and a $50 McDonalds gift card. Now, if they did mozzarella sticks like Arbys do, I'd spend that card every day! :) We were a little wary of this call but checked into it and it was legit. How exciting!

I worked for a few hours in the morning that Randy left for Houston, came home, and took him to the airport. Over the period of the next few days, I discovered sticky notes that Randy had hidden! My lingerie drawer, inside the shower, underneath our blanket, in the freezer, inside my Goldfish bag, and in the medicine cabinet. I loved it and want to brag to y'all that my husband is great :)

Well, life here is great. It's just the two of us and easy right now- we've been doing a lot lately and looking forward to doing more! It's quiet here sometimes- I'm used to being at my mom's house where kids are screaming, running around the house, and laughing. Maybe we'll get to hear that soon!

Randy has been in Texas for work since last Monday night.

He comes home tomorrow night.

It's about time!

I want my boy back, E.

or I'll punch you in the face.

I secretly love this man:

I'm sorry if you don't.
Check out his newest music video "I just haven't met you yet." It was filmed in a grocery store in Canada (I recognize the name of the store) and the woman he is with is his real time girlfriend. It's a CLEAN video and love it!
If you don't recognize him, I promise you my grandmother is swearing on her grave. Say hello to Michael Buble.

I ordered Michael Buble's CD last night off of Amazon.

Amazing grace...how sweet the sound :)

THREE reasons why I LOVE this MAN:

He will pose for me whenever I ask him to. This picture- taken in Chicago in our hotel room. I have more pictures of him posing but I will not subject him to this online any further. :)

Tonight, we read scriptures together on Skype. This was taken right after he looked up from reading a verse. I love his smile.

We skype every night he's away and every night, when I'm in bed, I ask him to sing to me. Tonight, he chose "Everything I'd Do For You" by Bryan Adams. His voice soothes me and I can fall asleep easily to his singing. I attached the recording on my camera for your entertainment- enjoy it.

These are only three out of many reasons why I love this Man!
